Laurie Victor Kay
Laurie Victor Kay is a visual artist/photographer, education advocate, champion of women, experience collector, and active observer of the world. She studied painting at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and photography at Columbia College in Chicago where she received her B.F.A. in1995.
With a multi-disciplinary approach, LVK blurs the lines between photography, painting, art, culture, fashion, architecture, and digital medium to reinterpret spaces into imagined worlds. LVK has collaborated with organizations across the globe, notably Jim Thompson Thai Silk Company. LVK's large-scale works are in numerous private and public collections throughout the United States, including 4 World Trade Center NY, the Buffett Cancer Center, and the Women's Center for Advancement.
Laurie is the founding partner of Laurie and Charles Photographs in Omaha, Nebraska where she has worked collaboratively while visually globe trotting with her husband, photographer Charles Kay Jr. since 1996. Clients include the Tiger Woods, Warren Buffett, TGR, Tiger Woods Foundation, Nike, Proctor and Gamble, AT&T, the New York Times, Red Cross, Publicis, Young&Rubicam, 1800 Tequila, University of Nebraska, Northstar Foundation, Film Streams, Condé Nast Traveler, Travel and Leisure, among many others.
